Salon- Open House- Gallery

I have a deep dark secret, so many works that have flown from my head, mind heart have gathered in the corners of my house, into the back of books, stored on shelves, stacked on top of eachother. Kinda reminding me of the song “All the Rowboats” by Regina Spektor and the lines
Hear them whispering French and German
Dutch, Italian, and Latin
When no one’s looking I touch a sculpture
Marble, cold and soft as satin
But the most special are the most lonely
God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins they keep coughing
They’ve forgotten, forgotten how to sing, how to sing

First there’s lights out, then there’s lock up
Masterpieces serving maximum sentences
It’s their own fault for being timeless
There’s a price to pay and a consequence
All the galleries, the museums
Here’s your ticket, welcome to the tombs
They’re just public mausoleums
The living dead fill every room
But the most special are the most lonely
God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins they keep coughing
They’ve forgotten, forgotten how to sing.

I feel that I have work that is suffocating and drowning under the weight of my need to make more work, to create and evolve. I must let these works out again to breate. I will show them the light once again, I will let them expand and be looked at commentented on and perhaps enjoyed by other eyes.

In Early December I plan on having an open house a Salon if you will, with as much of my work that I can give space to, on show for old friends and new faces to come in have a look,a chat, an experience and a refresh of thoughts and processes!

I will keep you all up to date.
